UCW (United Church Women)

St. Paul’s UCW is a vibrant, active, and multi-age group of women joined in a community of faith.  We are supporters, doers, and pray-ers, actively involved in worship, learning, and community.  We have been an important part of the St. Paul’s community from the very beginning, 60 years ago.

You will find UCW members helping to organizie events at St. Paul’s such as the rummage sale, the Holiday Jingle Bazaar and we often provide interesting speakers and programs.  Our members can be found serving the community through funeral receptions, anniversary and shower parties, making casseroles for the sick and shut-ins, knitting afghans, greeting at the door on Sunday mornings, and supporting members with home or hospital visits.

UCW members are organized into smaller “units” that meet each month during the morning, afternoon or evening, for a time of community, worship, and programms. We now have a new modern non-traditional group of younger women called LIVE, who meet the fourth Monday at 7:30pm.

Our purpose:  To unite all women of the congregation for the total mission of the Church and to provide a medium through which they may express their loyalty and devotion to Jesus Christ, in Christian Witness, Fellowship, and Service.

General Meetings:  2nd Tuesday of the month (January, April, June, September, and December) at 1pm or 7pm at St. Pauls in the Friendship Room or Small Auditorium.  See below for a current 2016 schedule.

Small Units meet monthly:

Sarah Unit meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 9:30am in the Friendship Room.

High Five Unit meets on the third Wednesday at 1pm in the Friendship Room.

Miriam Unit meets on the 4th Wednesday at 1pm in the homes of its members.

Live Unit meets the fourth Monday at 7:30pm.

Check with church office for additional information.

We are always welcoming new members. If you are interested in becoming a member, call or email the church office.
