Yvonne Sinniah is the Chief Operating Officer for a large not-for-profit serving vulnerable populations in the ares of Brampton and Mississauga. She is also here today as one of the Board Members of Halton Black Voices (HBV), an organization that amplifies the voices of Black communities while implementing community programs and initiatives to support individuals from racialized communities. Yvonne has been a lead and senior executive in multiple corporate government environments in Canada where she has had to bring about considerable change. As a change agent, Yvonne brings insights on how to be a change maker for the greater good while still maintaining one’s wellbeing and mental health. She brings her full self in sharing the good, bad and the ugly of her lived experience as a South Asian woman and as a senior executive along with key learnings and takeaways. As a public speaker and writer, Yvonne has successfully spoken on CBC Radio Show, been featured on Huffington Post, Chatelaine Magazine, and local Rogers TV shows. Through her work, Yvonne is committed to helping people in today’s society clear out the noise and stay focused on their purpose.
